2012 - 18th AFA Annual Forum & Exhibition

Between 7-9 February 2012, the Arab Fertilizers Association (AFA) was held its largest meeting, the 18th AFA Int’l. Annual Forum and Exhibition, in Sharm El-Sheikh, highlighting this year’s theme “Challenges in Volatile Fertilizer Markets”. The Forum was take place at Maritim Jolie Ville Golf Hotel. The number of delegates were exceed 500 delegate from 181 companies from 37 countries . The Forum draws delegates from around the world, making it one the premier events in the annual Middle East fertilizer calendar. The conference closed with an international line-up of speakers from IFA, FAI, IFFCO India, FAO, Chem-Courier Ukraine, CRU, Integer Research, APC Jordan, OCP Morocco, Ma’aden Saudi Arabia, Farming Outlook Pakistan, Arab Water Council, …etc. The AFA Forum was comprise five main strands: • Fertilizer policies and NPK market outlook. • World Food Security & Nutrition. • Supply and demand balance. • Energy conservation in fertilizer industry. • Optimization of water & Nutrient requirement. • Logistics and Global maritime Prospects.
