SABIC is sponsoring the 9th annual Argus Africa Fertilizer Conference in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa from February 26 to 28, as part of its strategy to share its expertise in the field of agri-nutrients and explore new market opportunities in Africa.
SABIC will display a range of innovative agri-nutrient solutions and introduce its experience in establishing the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development Center (Estidamah) in Riyadh, an applied research institute that provides a range of agriculture-related solutions to public and private agencies at the national and international level.
Yazid Al-Anqari, SABIC Agri-Nutrients General Manager, Phosphate and Potassium, who is leading a delegation to the conference, said that the event is an opportunity for SABIC to strengthen customer relationships and find new avenues to boost sales. It is also an opportunity to further understand customer needs and support them through high-quality agri-nutrient products, such as NPK and NPS.
The conference is one of the largest of its kind, with more than 520 participants representing leading fertilizer manufacturers and distributors from around 65 countries, including 23 from Africa, as well as 20 expert speakers, researchers and entrepreneurs.
