Belgium to Host AFA Technical Workshop Next December, Hosted by Prayon.

The Arab Fertilizer Association is pleased to announce the technical workshop: FERTILIZERS RE-ENGINEERED: Innovating Processes for a Low-Carbon High-Performance Future. The workshop will take place from 1–3 December 2026 in Liège, Belgium, hosted by Prayon.

Bringing together industry experts and specialists, the workshop will address the latest technologies and developments in fertilizer production, processing, and plant operations, while exploring technical advancements across the phosphate, nitrogen, and potash sectors.
The program will feature specialized technical sessions and discussions focusing on process technologies, operational excellence, energy and resource efficiency, sustainability, innovation, and the future challenges facing the fertilizer industry.

On the final day, participants will take part in an exclusive technical visit to the Prayon Research Hub, providing a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into Prayon’s technologies, R&D activities, and industrial expertise, while engaging directly with its technical specialists.
The workshop provides a specialized platform combining technical knowledge, practical expertise, real-world industrial experience, and professional networking, bringing together fertilizer industry experts from the region and around the world.
