For the First Time in Istanbul, Türkiye: Arab Fertilizer Association Launches Economic Workshop Activities

The Arab Fertilizer Association (AFA) will launch tomorrow, Monday, 5 October 2026, in Istanbul, Türkiye, its Economic Workshop entitled “Current and Future Outlook for Fertilizer Industry Economics Amid Global Transformations.” The workshop will run over three days, from 5 to 7 October 2026, at the CVK Park Bosphorus Hotel.

The workshop brings together a distinguished group of experts, specialists, and representatives from leading international organizations and consultancy firms active in the fertilizer, energy, shipping, and logistics sectors. Participants include market analysts and industry experts specializing in fertilizer market intelligence and economics across all segments of the industry. Experts from renowned institutions, including CRU, S&P Global Energy, Poten & Partners, Wood Mackenzie, and TRUAGRO, will contribute to the discussions.

Through six working sessions, the workshop will explore global fertilizer market outlooks for nitrogen, phosphate, and potash, covering supply-demand dynamics, pricing trends, geopolitical and trade developments, as well as developments in natural gas and LNG markets, shipping and logistics, supply chain resilience, environmental regulations, and emerging opportunities in low-carbon ammonia markets.

Over the course of three consecutive days, participants will discuss the most significant changes impacting fertilizer, energy, and logistics markets and examine their implications for the future of the fertilizer industry and global trade.
